The future is here, or at least it feels like it. AirCar, a bimodal vehicle (AKA a flying car like what we’ve seen in movies), has been accorded a Certificate of Airworthiness by the Slovak Transport Authority.

Designed by the Slovakia-based company, Klein Vision, AirCar is a superb hybrid of a car and an aircraft. With just the touch of a button, the car can easily be transformed into a small plane, having state-of-the-art technology like foldable wings, retractable empennage, aerodynamic fuselage design and a parachute ejection system.

AirCar also guarantees the safety and quality of its ride, having used advanced composite materials from a certified company in Slovakia, SK MODEL, to build each one. It will be available in various prototype models: 2-seat, 4-seat, twin-engine and amphibious.

Having completed more than 70 hours of test flights plus another 200 takeoff and landing tests, the AirCar is ready. The founder and CEO of Klein Vision, Stefan Klein has turned his dream into reality thanks to his neverending fondness for flying and his talented team of aviation development experts.
