One of the most glamorous hotels on the Iberian Peninsula, Marbella Club has revealed the opening of its new social hub to be known as the “Clubhouse.”
Set on a sprawling resort featuring immaculately-tended gardens and acres of flora that stretch down to the beach, the Clubhouse will feature El Patio Restaurant, Rudi’s Bar, La Bodega, bespoke dining spaces, hair and beauty boutique, shops, and spaces for pop-up collaborations; all designed by Marie-Caroline Willms and Johanna Haniel of Spain-based design studio EMCI.
Oozing with the classic Andalusian vibe, it draws inspiration from the hotel’s beginnings as a low-key hideaway of Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe and his father to it being a beach retreat for the likes of Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot, and Cary Grant.
The vast grounds will consist of warm and inviting tones and simple materials that are reminiscent of the past such as raffia, bamboo, hand-painted tiles, and terracotta pathways. To enliven the surroundings, spaces will be filled with furnishings adorned in Schumacher’s Citrus Garden print and other botanically-inspired decors.
All in all, the Clubhouse aims to be an absolute setting for socializing in every season.
