#OnTheRadar: Make The Next Vacation Count With The Yacht Week

A lot can happen in a week and especially when you spend it with The Yacht Week.

Created by a private limited company in 2006, Day 8 AB, The Yacht Week is a yearly, 7-day event set on six different sailing routes: Croatia – Original Route, Croatia – Hideout Festival Route, Croatia – Ultra Route, Greece – Athens Route, Polynesia – Tahiti Route and The Caribbean – Martinique & St.Lucia Route.

However, the event’s highlight is not only on the dazzling destinations; whether you’re a lone traveller, a yacht-loving couple or a big/small crowd, The Yacht Week lets you curate your own sailing journey that fits your preference and your crew. For those who travel solo or with a small group, meet with other adventurous yachters on a shared yacht or opt for a full yacht where you can bring up to 12 friends with you on the journey.

First thing first, guests can start off the big plan by choosing the destination then go on and pick the types of service you’re looking for with the pre-designed packages, with service options ranging from classic to premium and luxury with each one coming with different yacht type, capacity and features. Each boat also comes with a private skipper who will navigate your entire journey, making sure you hit up all the hidden spots and get to each destination on your trip safely. Our personal favourite is the Luxury Package, featuring a 40 – 45ft Catamaran with AC and 4 beautiful cabins plus a host who will fix up fresh meals daily and keep your yacht clean at all times. An even sleeker option would be curating your own yacht trip by the yacht model, the host and the food you want most.

Explore different towns and islands of Croatia – Trogir, Hvar, Bol, Vis, Milna and more – on The Croatia, Original Route package. Join one of Croatia’s biggest music festivals, Hideout Festival, an EDM party you wouldn’t miss out on through their Croatia, Hideout Festival Route where your yacht will be anchored just right behind the Hideout Main Stage so you can party for days on end with no interruption.

More of a nature lover slash island-hopping enthusiast? Then The Caribbean, Martinique & St Lucia Route is for you. Dive deep into the crystal-clear Caribbean Sea and hike up the great Pitons followed by waterfall and rainforest hikes on Pigeon Island to explore the best of both worlds, at sea and ashore, that the Caribbean has to offer.

Another great option for partygoer slash history devourer is The Greece, Athens Route where you can cruise through the sea of ancient history in the old cities of Greece like Poros, Porto Heli, Hydra, Athens and more, with yacht parties sneaked in here and there to keep things extra fun and interesting.

Ready to sea the world? Here’s a seven-day voyage that will stay with you for a lifetime. The Yacht Week now opens for booking for 2022. Some of their upcoming yacht trips are already sold out so make sure you book your spot quickly.
